incorrect. make sure it's a PCI-E. there's a huge difference between PCI and PCI-E.... one of them is close to 100x faster than the other (that's the PCI-E, btw).

OK, we'll get technical. Yes, you'll want a PCI-E. Be sure to not get it in PCI (even though the 6600GT was never made in PCI) and only look for PCI-E.

Technically, the PCI-E version is 29x faster than the PCI version that never existed, not 100x.

Regardless, the 6600GT is a good cheap alternative if you are on a tight budget and want to buy some time to save up for a better card.
